It's the season. Same here since about a week ago. Progressed now to cold/flu like symptoms. Just going to ride it out. Taking over the counter lozenges for the throat discomfort.
Take care.

Mini Poz,
It is the season for throat problems. I like to use Musinex DM Max liquid to thin the mucus so I can cough up the crud. It tastes OK and does not numb your throat but it really works. Be sure and drink plenty of water as well.

I'm sure quite a few people thought this was a living with HIV issue but with your awesome numbers, it's simply a living issue.  I wasn't sure how to comment or respond since there are a vast amount of reasons for the symptoms you listed.

On a trip to Florida, I lost my voice.  I thought I picked up something on the plane.  I also have a lot of anxiety when traveling.  I mention that, because I've noticed when I am stressed, I get those tiny white spots on the back of my throat.  I had those at the time.  I began to think it was anxiety induced, for me.  My throat was red, but it wasn't sore.

I used cough drops and honey.  When you lose your voice, it is so frustrating.  People have to become lip readers.   I would have a voice, when I first woke up, but it would be gone again within an hour.  I hope yours clears up.  Mine finally cleared up as we were heading home.  My partner liked that I couldn't complain about his driving.

You did not state whether you are a smoker or work in an environment where you are exposed to a lot of smoke. I would suggest if your condition persist for more than two weeks you see your doctor.  Not being an alarmist but my sister had the same thing and waited too long to see a doctor. It did not turn out to just be a seasonal problem or just a minor throat infection.  It turned out to be an early sign of lung cancer.

It's just a case of laryngitis.  I think I only had it once in my life.  It will go away.
