Ten Things I Pray to Own in My Heart As True...
« on: May 07, 2008, 01:37:05 pm »
Ten things I pray to OWN in my heart as true…

…so that they show up in my daily thoughts, actions and beliefs.

1)   My journey in this life is really no different than any other human being--only my Ego will tell me otherwise
2)   In every situation, challenge, and woe there is divine perfection whether or not I can intellectualize that truth in the moment or not
3)   My purpose in this life is to be an expression of love—even or especially when met with the contrary
4)   There is no secret worth keeping if that secret rapes me of authenticity and my ability to stand proud and practice self-love and acceptance
5)   I am supported, loved and cherished even in those moments that it doesn’t feel that way
6)   I have always been “Enough!”
7)   Forgiveness, compassion, and mercy are my finest allies
8)   I have never failed (at being human)
9)   I am beautiful, loveable, and a blessing to those who’s lives I enter
10)   Rejection is just another way God and the Universe tests me in truly owning the above 9 truths.

What about you ladies?  What do you pray to own in your heart as true?

I don't know if I can get to 10 but will try:

1) the power to hardly ever assume or judge (with some exceptions)

2) the ability to draw borders for my own protection

3) the ability to let go

4) the ability to just be and accept what is

5) understanding that I am inextricably related to others

6) not being threated my others (with the necessary limitations, see 2)

7) living in the present and not in constant dread of the future

8) feeling at ease with and aware of my body and its needs - not denying my physicality or trying to change it

9) patience...

10) ability to concentrate on what I'm doing and find interest in it

11) not putting my ego at the center of the world but looking beyond, observing myself as part of a system

I can't beleive I got more than 10 at the end, I guess I could go further. But that's plenty for now. If I reached just a couple of these things I'd be very pleased with myself...
