Feb 04, 2009 05:30AM in the HIV Prevention Community
Hi, I recently had sex and I did not ejaculate but the female did ejaculate, with Protection and I know for sure that the condom did not break. I am acctually very afraid of AIDS and so got tested (6 Weeks). My Test result was 'NON REACTIVE'. I am nervous. Could you please advise if I can still get HIV/AIDS. Thanks, Ayan.

The above is what you posted at MedHelp and you were given correct advise. Don't go trolling this forum.

Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). If you continue to post excessively after one Time Out, you may be given a second Time Out which will last eight weeks. There is no third Time Out - it is a permanent ban. The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

Ayan, if your condom had broken that would have been very clear. It ends up looking like a fringed hoop on your penis. You used a condom. They provide very effective protection no matter whom you are with or what their HIV status is.

I don't any cause for concern about your incident so it's no surprise that you tested negative. There is no need for further testing on your part.

Indian,

Yes - use a condom for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infecton. It really is that simple. Read through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use them with confidence.

Hi Ann,
Thanks for your reply, can I ask one more question... Please answere .. Please dont gt offended... I asked this question in another forum, but no one answered... The question is:

Question: Is one red pimple here and there on the body also a RASH... or it should be a bunch of pimples, that itch a lot.  I have been answered that I dont have a risk, this is just for info... If someone can reply.. It will be helpful..

Ann, can you please reply to this..  :(

The rash associated with ARS is a flat one, non-itchy and can be on torso and extremities. It comes all at once and is gone in week or two. What you are describing does not fit that description. No surprise since you didn't have a risk.

Thanks Andy & Ann... I cannot explain how eager I become when I see a reply.. Almost in tears..

And to tell the whole story, I had sex with sex workers once in late december then on last week of jan. Both times I used condoms... and at both times, I did not see any leakages..,.. When I tested out of anxiety, it was 6 weeks from the sex I had in december... So I still kept posting coz I doubt the jan experiene also,..

But, as Ann mentioned, If I have a condom, even if the sex worker is HIV+, I will not get infected.. But as u see I am now in the socond week for my jan last week sex act, and I get afraid when I see some thing that is close to an HIV symptom... So keep posting questions.

Right now, to be very precise, I have a red pimple on my stomact and one red pimple on my back.. may hav come today or yesterday.. it does itch sometimes.. so I get so scarred...

So what I understand from your answers, I am fine from both of my sex acts and I dont require further testing... Could you please confirm.. Please... Dont get angry please...

Indian,

There's nothing to add. If you're worried about pimples, see a doctor. It's NOTHING to do with hiv. You have NOT had a risk.

If you read the Welcome Thread like you're supposed to before posting, you will have read the following posting guideline:

Quote
Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). Please consider yourself warned.

Indian,

You've been told repeatedly that you did NOT have a risk! How many times do you have to be told?

I'm giving you that time out I warned you about. Do not attempt to create a new account to get around your time out because if you do, you will be permanently banned.

Indian,

You were warned about attempting to create a new account to get around your time out. You just made such an attempt and you are now permanently banned.
