I had one on FB once so I ended up having to 'hide' my friends list.  I wish there was something we could spray for that.

i won't drop names, but i still smell troll.

I dropped by the forum to see how things were going and saw this thread and thought, yeah that's me that he's referring too (to clarify, not two names but the "I still smell troll").  This is an issue that was brought up in another thread and whilst I understand the doubts, and I couldn't care less if anyone thinks I'm an arsehole, I do hate the idea that I might be being perceived as a liar, so I figure that it's we cut through the bullshit and that I provide some proof of who/what I am.

To this endeavor I've scanned my drivers license, a pic of my room as I described it, a pic of me in my room (holding a sign that says Hi Ann" and a scan of a nurses union tax receipt to verify my occupation. You'll understand that I don't want to post this stuff on the internet so I'll PM Ann and ask her if I can email to her via the aidsmed website and she can report back here.

I went to the HIV Clinic today (counts looking good) but have to return again later this week, so when I do I'll ask them for a print-out of my latest results and I'll also send these as soon as I get them.

While I have been wrong on numerous occasions,  I don't think zach or anyone else thought you were a fraud.  I sure don't, the quitting cigs thread did it for me.  Anyways, I'm glad you showed your face--keep fighting-- us, it, and yourself..... you're going to be alright.

Skeboo, you're magic mate.

Ok, now onto business. I have no patience so I've decided it's time to publish and be damned!

Below you'll find a union tax receipt with previously mentioned occupation (former actually, I de-registered myself when I developed depression) and a pic of my room at the chatue de cardboard which I described in loving detail in the tweaking post (a place one reviewer once described as like holidaying in a garbage tip in a war zone). You'll note the radio, TV and backpack as previously detailed. Also don't you love the 60s brick walls which carry the noise from the next room so well and are ideal for bashing your head against.

I haven't included the drivers license or photo of yours truly....there's enough ugly in the world, no need for me to add to it.

Growler

P.S. I'll pull these on Friday.

It's just an unfortunate fact of internet forums that some people will register with several screen names so they can mess with people's heads. We do our best to keep this type of activity to an absolute minimum here. The rule regarding multiple accounts being forbidden is explicitly spelled out in the Terms of Membership that you must agree to when signing up for an account.

We have various ways of detecting this type of activity and although some manage to fly under our radar for a while, they always get caught - and banned - eventually. Usually sooner rather than later.

If anyone has a suspicion or actually knows about anyone having more than one account, please let Tim Horn and me know via PM. Do NOT post your suspicions or accusations in the public forums.

I dropped by the forum to see how things were going and saw this thread and thought, yeah that's me that he's referring too (to clarify, not two names but the "I still smell troll").

It's not about you at all. In fact, the doubt that was expressed in that other thread was doubt over whether or not you were actually tweeking, or if you were just trying to yank some chains.

I've removed your tax statement from your other post. You would not have been able to edit it on friday - the edit function is only available for ... either 36 or 48 hours. I forget which. Posts used to be able to be edited indefinitely, but we had other people, like you, who were fond of editing their posts to blank, rendering whole threads or parts of threads unreadable. So we put a time limit on the function.

It's 3 o'clock in the morning and the fire alarm has gone off in my building because some fuck-wit forgot to open his window before lighting up his bong.....The scary thing is that there are 70 people in the building and only 8 of us bothered to go downstairs out at the sound of the alarm. The up side of the situation is that at least I'm getting to watch the sexy fire-fighters mill around the alarm system trying to turn the thing off :-)

Ok, reading Ann's reply a light flickers in the walnut sized piece of jelly that is my excuse for a brain.....maybe I have put 2 and 2 together and reached the stunning conclusion that the answer was 5. Ah fuck it. I can now add paranoia to the diagnosis (I wonder what happens if I collect the whole set, do I get a 1 in 5 chance to win a trip to Disney land???)
And in answer to the question, yeah I was tweaking....just got a bit paranoid and upset when people started posting about "Meth Kills" and shit like that....I have no doubt of the sincerity of the posts but it's not a message you want to hear when you're speeding; it just served to scare the shit out of me at the time and bring out my insecurities.

Yeah I figured out that I couldn't edit back more than a day or two when I had last episode of "edititius" and tried to impose my own Orwellian-esque censorship on the forum......that said I have noticed from other peoples postings that if you delete the photo from photobucket it does disappear from the forum, which was how I intended to do the deed.

No footlocker under the bed, or men in the closet for that matter, to be honest my biggest gripe about the room itself is that I'm 6 foot and the bed's too short. There is one thing missing from the picture is my teddy bear Sebastian. I left him out of the picture because i didn't want anyone to think I was in anyway soft.

OK, time to get back to sleep...per chance to dream of Richard Gere and a tub of Crisco....Woof!

If someone has multiple personalities, and each has their own account... does that still violate the rules? Because if it was true DID and they weren't integrated they would have no idea of each other. Just curious.

Anyway... Growler... I love that you have a teddy bear named Sebastian. I have a duck named Xavier. Yep, a duck. He's pretty chill. Anyway, hang in there!

Bloop was actually named Debbie, just like me. (Ann is my middle name) The only difference is that I spelled my name Debi, because with a last name like Smith, I had to do something to make it a bit different. There are thousands of Debbie Smiths in the States, but very few in the UK.

But yeah, Penny was a real cutie, and well dressed too. :)

PS - I was allegedly named after Debbie Reynolds. And my proper name is Debra, not Deborah.

edited because I misspelled Ms Reynolds' name. For shame!
