Fang "goes condo"
« on: November 09, 2006, 09:12:24 pm »
Fang got a new cat condo today.   They were half price at big lots, and I have wanted one for her for a long time now.   So far, she has pretty much ignored it...hopefully, she will warm up to it.

Yesterday, I resurrected her furry mouse that hangs on an elastic string from a doorframe (feeling guilty about not playing with her enough, you know....).   She decided to bat it around at 3 a.m. this morning.....

Alan,

Hope fang warms up to his condo. I got one for my cat and she wouldnt have anything to do with it. Wouldnt play with the toys that hung down from it. I sprayed cat nip on it and that didnt even work.  But put a brown paper sack or a box on the floor and she has a ball.

Hugs

Cats always seem to raise the most hell during the night or atleast my little hellcat, Lucifer does. Every wire in the house is a temptation for him. So much so that I have to give him timeouts. I am curious to see if Fang will warm up to the condo because I was thinking of getting one. I'm thinking he might like it because he loves to climb on things including me...lol.. Let me know how it goes....

Alan...before you know it, Fang will become Queen of the condo.

Here's a few pictures of my cats enjoying their condo

Wow Nadine, looks like you have the "4 story" model.   Fang's is only a 2 story.

Last night, I tried to get her interested in it.....but you can't "make" her do anything she doesn't want to.

I may end up using it as an end table.... :(

Hey Alan,

Sprinkle a little catnip on the condo. Just a bit, here and there.

Then sit back and watch the fun!  ;D

Cats are divine creatures.

Ok Mark, the condo has been 'catnipped'......we'll see what she does now.

Thanks!

You'll probably end up sitting on the condo.

While Fang, watching from your bed, will just shake her head while casually cleaning her paws and thinking, "Humans. So weird."

you can buy a cat the world and they play with the most simplist things.  A cat I once had went nuts over the little plastic rings in the screw cap from a gallon of milk!

:D  :D  :D  ;D Either that or a place to hang a jacket! Fang will probably use it eventually.

:D  ;D Oh goodness! True! If I had a dollar everytime someone told me that very same thing.....

Fang has a whole 'toy chest' full of toys.....her favorites though?   The ring from a milk jug or the twist tie from a bread bag.

Cats are smart....they know the simple things in life are the best!

Oh yes...milk rings and bread ties are my cats favorites too!  Every time I move the couch, there are tons of them under there!

My dog, on the other hand, likes cat toys!  :D
