Ah so they have the updated 2020 version already?

I think I got mine really late last year, late Oct as the updated version was late..that was at the hospital ID dept. I was all new to me last year of course.

Do you go to ID clinic for yours for just local doctor?

I see some pharmacies offer it too.  I might go the local route this year as I was high priority last year at the ID clinic with being a new advanced case so they were running around doing everything for me since I was going every 2-4 weeks all last year. now I’m more a routine patient so the window for milking it has closed 😂. However I don’t want to reveal my status if I opt for a jab at the local pharmacy.

- A/Kansas/14/2017(H3N2)-like virus
- B/Colorado/06/2017-like virus (B/Victoria/2/87 lineage)
- B/Phuket/3073/2013-like virus (B/Yamagata/16/88 lineage)

You can go to the ID clinic or the local GP if you wish, I'm opting for the local pharmacy. The ID clinic will do it fully free for the person getting it

Personally I've never had any issues with the pharmacies and HIV status, they are educated on this topic and subject to keeping medical records private. TBH if (when) the new medical system gets rolled out they will know about our HIV status anyway, we're just not there yet.

Best. Jim
