I'm MOVING!!!
« on: January 26, 2007, 10:28:39 am »
I got tired of the suburban life and living in a cookie cutter house saying hi to the neighbors and acting like I gave a shit about their son who's the eagle scout getting accepted to Notre Dame!  I am going back to my roots.  I grew up in a place like this and its high time I return to the land of my people!

www.mytrailerpark.com

PS
I actually did grow up in a trailer park.  And the first time we moved as a family...we sawed the house in half down the middle and just moved it to the NEW trailer park!!!  I'd always dreamed of having stairs INSIDE my house as a kid instead of those concret ones that roll up to the front door!

LIFE is not a race to the grave with the intention of arriving safely
in a pretty and well-preserved body, but, rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming--WOW! WHAT A
RIDE!!!

ACinKC you crack me up, not because of the trailer house but because you said you are tired of saying Hi to neighbors who you don't give a crap about. I can relate to you because I live in NYC, Queens to be exact where all of the houses look the same and the houses are attached and you kinna share the backyard also. Anyhow, I don't know any my neighbor's names and I been living here for 10 years. We see eachother all the time, but I guess New Yorkers are naturally bitchy compared to suburbans. I remember going to Texas 15 years ago and everyone in the neighborhood where my cousin lived wanted to know who I was and how a New Yorker talked. I was like, What you looking at, I ain't no alien. They all wanted to know my name and I was quite frightened by these kids and people. I was the talk of the neighborhood. They thought I was hood and knew how to steal etc. Anyway, I never cared about my neighbors and I usually just walk pass by them and they do the same. That the NYC style.

OMG...I know some of the people on that site...SERIOUSLY!  Dale Dudley and Bob Fonseca!  They are real people here in Austin! Dale's peach-colored tux is from their Flashback Prom that they have every year. He is one of the guards in Spy Kids 2, also. Their radio show is where I won the Jet Blue tickets that took me to NYC last week!
