newly poz and post-transition (FTM)
« on: October 10, 2011, 04:49:47 pm »
hi everyone. i'm a transman, 29 years old, i tested positive sept 11. i'm doing pretty well so far in dealing with the new diagnosis. i'm not on any meds, and my doctor says i may not need to be for a while. i've told a few close friends, who have been pretty understanding for the most part.

i am unsure about my future love life. i'm used to disclosing the fact that i'm a transsexual to potential sexual partners. now i have to tell them this as well. i just feel like these two things are going to make everyone run away from me. are there any other trans people on this forum?

Hi transguy, Sorry to hear about your diagnosis but welcome.  :)

I'm glad to hear you're handling things well so far.

I would say don't stress too much about your love life at the moment, cos it'll happen when it happens. You're definitely not alone in searching for love either (poz or not), you'll know when the right person comes along.

Take care,

Best.
