Newly diagnosed? Don't lose a year of your life...
« on: February 15, 2007, 09:22:47 am »
...Like I did. Bewildered, numb, and maybe quite a bit scared are good adjectives to describe 2006. In retrospect, I got nothing done and  I felt overwelmed although continually educating myself (I'm a geek). Now, I'm mentally on the road to dealing with it and won't let "life" pass me by! Heck, I already lost a year!

Life didn't pass you by in that year.  You were getting ready for the rest of your life.  Sometimes good things need a little preparation.  Carpe diem.

hey mike, we're in the same boat.  i've spent the past six years with my head in the sand and avoided the issue at all costs.  just in the past month i've began to educate myself, read a couple books, found this site,  and there's been a sense of freedom that comes along with it.   feels great, doesn't it?

Sam DO NOT post in this forum again. Keep your question and thoughts in your own thread in the "Am I Infected?"

Hey,
Congrats on your educating yourself and your courage.  Took me 9 years of suspecting and worrying before testing.  You look like a winner to me!
