...Like I did. Bewildered, numb, and maybe quite a bit scared are good adjectives to describe 2006. In retrospect, I got nothing done and  I felt overwelmed although continually educating myself (I'm a geek). Now, I'm mentally on the road to dealing with it and won't let "life" pass me by! Heck, I already lost a year!

hey mike, we're in the same boat.  i've spent the past six years with my head in the sand and avoided the issue at all costs.  just in the past month i've began to educate myself, read a couple books, found this site,  and there's been a sense of freedom that comes along with it.   feels great, doesn't it?

Just read your signature. How could you be infected in Winter of 04 - Spring of 05 and constantly test negartive . Coule you please explain

  Congrats on your educating yourself and your courage.  Took me 9 years of suspecting and worrying before testing.  You look like a winner to me!

I know what you mean.... I lost the last part of 1985,after my diagnosis, and just about all of 1986. Then things started clicking !! Your not alone !! Hang in there.

Current Meds ; Viramune / Epzicom Eliquis, Diltiazem. Pravastatin 80mg, Ezetimibe. UPDATED 2/18/24
 Tested positive in 1985,.. In October of 2003, My t-cell count was 16, Viral load was over 500,000, Percentage at that time was 5%. I started on  HAART on October 24th, 2003.

 UPDATED: As of April, 2nd 2024,Viral load Undetectable.
CD 4 @593 /  CD4 % @ 18 %

Lymphocytes,total-3305 (within range)

cd4/cd8 ratio -0.31

cd8 %-57

72 YEARS YOUNG
