Could i still be infected

Ok long story. So i had unprotected sex with 2 girls but i had been for awhile like 2 weeks later i started feeling like crap. I was so fatigued im a college student so it was even hard for me to go to class then i noticed swollen lymph nodes in both sides of my groing. I had itching mosiquito looking bumps come up on me also. I had diarrhea i would just be laying around and you could hear my stomach constantly rolling. i also had muscle twitching started mostly in my legs but now kinda everywhere sometimes muscles feel week and after i get done run for like a few seconds i feel pins and needles feeling. I also have hpv so i notice a bump in the roof of my mouth one day and started checking my mouth and notice in between like the front for bottom teeth look like warts weird looking something isnt right and that place is still in the roof of my mouth. Ok so when i first started feeling bad i went to the doc and all my white blood cell counts were low. By the way i know something is wrong because this has never happened to me before and hit me out of nowhere. i know my body and something isnt right i work out all the time and play football and baseball. so i went to the doc and got a 6 week hiv test and it was negative and went back on the 97 day which is bout 14 weeks and it was negative is that conclusive? its freaking me out i got to pretty much telling myself it has to be hiv because i have no idea what else would do this out of nowhere. the GI problems are still going on today and the muscle twitching and pins and needles when i get done running. Its been about 4 months now should i get tested again just incase? One girl got tested last week and it was negative and the other one said she gave blood at the beginning of this year and said they woulda told her if something was wrong but i really am just seeking some help i dont know what to do please help me  thank you very much

You have reliably tested negative for HIV. You ARE HIV negative. Period. End of that story.

Whatever is going on symptomatically has nothing to do with HIV. You should discuss your symptoms with your doctor if they persist.

You scooted by safely this time after having had unprotected sex. You need to learn from this experience. You can have intercourse, both vaginal and anal, with anyone you want to regardless of their HIV status. But you need to do it the safer way. That means, without exceptions, using condoms everytime. You got by this time but you cannot count on that luck in the future. HIV is forever.

so your 100% sure it is not hiv and no need for another test? Im getting a cold now that scares me to bc im afraid its bc my immune system is down

As you have been told, you do not have hiv. You have tested conclusively and reliably hiv negative over the situations you are worried about.

And also as you have been told, if you feel unwell, see a doctor (or dentist for your mouth). Whatever is going on has NOTHING to do with hiv. You do NOT have hiv.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED FURTHER TESTING OVER THE UNPROTECTED INCIDENTS, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Thank yall so much! It still scares me though because I have pretty much told myself thats what it is because I dont know what else could be causing all this just out of the blue bc i was perfectly healthy. Thank you andy and ann very much this is an excellent site i like what yall are doing

All sorts of health problems can occur "out of the blue". Most do, in fact.

You have reliably ruled hiv as the cause of your problems, so go to a doctor to find out what actually IS the cause. It is not hiv.

Fortunately fears and doubts are not facts. And the facts of the situation are that you have reliably tested negative for HIV.

You ARE HIV negative. Period. End of story. Get on with your life and make sure to use condoms everytime for intercourse. No exceptions, no stories, no buts.

I just wanted to say i went to the doc the other day and had a bunch of test done and it came back all negative today so i dont know what it could be. Im not trying to question a conclusive result i just wanna make sure your 100% sure it is no way hiv. It just scares me that i could be one that shows up late on a test or something

NO.

The vast majority of people who have actually been infected will seroconvert and test positive by SIX WEEKS, with the average time to seroconversion being only 22 days.

You do not have hiv. You are conclusively hiv negative.

The only people who might take a little longer than three months to test positive are those on chemotherapy for cancer, anti-rejection drugs following organ transplant, or have been injecting street drugs, every day, for YEARS.

Keep working with your doctor to find out what, if anything, is wrong with you.

It's your fears and doubts speaking. Just because you haven't found an explanation for your symptoms does not automatically invalidate your negative HIV test result.

The only instances in which testing is indicated for 6 months are situations which involve extensive intravenous drug use or a severely depleted immune system due to an organ transplant or an illness such as cancer. Otherwise 13 weeks is sufficient for a reliable negative result.

HIV is not your issue no matter what your fears say to the contrary.

That's no surprise to us although a negative result is always happy news.

Whatever the source of your problem maybe, it's not HIV.
