Oral, with high risk guy
« on: January 06, 2017, 02:27:15 pm »
Hi , appreciate your thoughts on this

Approx 3 weeks ago I gave oral to a guy, no cum but certainly precum...

I am very HIV paranoid person anyway, so my stupid fault for putting myself in a situation with some risk...

I don't think I would have thought much of it had it not been for a conversation after where he then disclosed he topped a guy unprotected the week before  with apparent undectable  status...

I have been in bits since this ommissom, prob haven't gone 10mins without thinking about it, convinced I am infected...

Now for the past two days my pelvic area has been tender to touch and there is pain when I press in my lower abdomen (right hand side)

I saw a sexual health doctor today who inspected them but didn't seem concerned.

I know you can't discuss symptoms but would pain in these areas with no other issues be possibly linked to HIV....?

I am due to find out his results tmw but I have already resigned myself to accepting I have it if he tells me he is positive....

I admit I am a bit of a trawler and have been searching this forum and found several accounts from people certain that only did oral and contracted it, I can assure you now thats all that happened here!!

I guess my main question is if he did aquire  this a week earlier, would there be enough virus in his system to infect me a week later ....

The thought of contracting a lifelong virus traumatises me... I know it's not as bad as it was but I know psychological this will kill me...

Also your thoughts on him knowing he did BB last week with a confirmed HIV guy and letting me go down on him.

My moral conscious could never allow that so I am angry at him...

Hi , First off giving a blow job is not high risk, if anything it's just theoretical and would involve large gaping wounds in your mouth. Doesn't sound like the case to me.

Secondly we always assume your partner is living with HIV and I am not here to judge your partners sexual practices. Bottom line you are overreacting and there is no need to run out and test, just do so at your usual regular screening

Last of all we do not discuss symptom and yours have nothing to do with HIV, so please see your doctor if you are ill.

Best, Wade

I waited for Wade to finish and I agree with what he posted.

Move on and cut the drama, you read a few anecdotal stories who care we still have people living with HIV who will not even admit to themselves they have HIV let alone how the got it.

Regarding you post firstly HIV can affect anyone regardless of Class, Wealth, Social standing, Sexual orientation, Race, Ethnicity, Gender or Age. HIV is simply a virus and doesn't care about such matters. I don't care about such matters either.

Who your partner slept with in the past does not matter, the only thing that matters is that you look after yourself by practicing safer sex and know your own status by testing at least yearly. You most likely have slept with people who have slept with people living with HIV before and will do so unknowingly again.

I am not sure what morals have to do with sleeping with someone living with HIV , but if you are suggesting there is something immoral about people living with HIV or our partners I will gladly ban you right fucking now.

Look if you choose to sleep with someone or not its up to to you but don't be suggesting others are immoral, we don't judge here but ill gladly make an an exception towards you.

Hi Wade

I do appreciate this is a routine question and I got the expected reply.

I am not ill, I just have this tenderness in those areas.

Will just have to wait for results, I know that.

Just need this to be over so I can move on..

Thanks

Wow, Wade you have totally misunderstood here.

This is a fantastic site for people who have hiv or worried that may have got it...

I meant if i had have unproceted sex with a guy who told me after his status, I would feel morally better to get tested before sleeping with another guy..

Really no need to ban me...

You missed the point.

Morals have nothing to do with it, you can sleep with however you like or do not like that much is up to you however you should presume everyone may be infected with HIV and it is up to you to engage in safer sex.

Who they have slept with in the past or not has nothing to do with your own responsibility to protect yourself and has nothing to do with the morals of the other person.

By saying you have a moral issue with someone who sleeps with HIV positive people you are suggesting it therefore is immoral. There is nothing immoral in sleeping with someone who is living with HIV and many people are in mixed-status relationships who love each other and enjoy healthy and happy sex lives without any risk towards each other thanks to Treatment as Prevention, Condoms, PrEP and/or a combination.  Christ I even fathered children whilst living with HIV, its just not a problem anymore.  http://www.preventionaccess.org/consensus

Anyhow like I said keep your morals to yourself and don't be positing them here. If you make such a suggestion again I will permanently ban you from the forum, for being offensive towards not only myself but every single member of this community.

Jim

Oh BTW cut the drama the virus is very fragile, and your mouth has dozens of protein and enzymes that damage the virus and render it unable to infect.
There is no need to run test every time you give a blow job, just get tested the next time you are due for a regular checkup and fully expect a negative result.
