Title: A stressful day

Today the person I was with when I was diagnosed came back to my city (he's living in another EU country) and we were together all day.

He knows about my status and we have been talking a lot about it. When we were at my house he said that it would be OK just to have some fun with our hands.

We were both sitting together. I managed to get a really "big one" and somehow ended with cum in his face.


Panic ensues. Goes to wash face on the toilet with lots of soap. Goes to the hospital to ask for PEP. Has to miss flight for being in doctor. They gave him Emtricitabine + Tenofovir and Raltegravir for seven days only. He is going to go to my hospital tomorrow to see if they are able to give him more... Not sure since he's not from my country, tho he's from EU.

I think I didn't hit the eye (no redness or pain at all) and he might have made it sound worse to the doctors so he would get the pills. I'm in a pile of nerves, I can't believe this is happening to me. I think I should go with him to the hospital tomorrow but I am so ashamed.

Time to try to sleep this one out...

If it was a risk assessment I would be telling your friend to "move on with his life" and to get over it.

Look its a question we get every few weeks.

Relax, its not a HIV transmission concern, I've included about half a dozen threads on the same about getting one or another "fluid" in the eyes.

Now truly I understand, I really do know how you feels right now and you are still digesting the news of your own diagnosis but you are not a walking infection waiting to happen, its HIV and fragile.

I agree with Jim. If HIV was that simple to transmit, there would be countless millions more living with it.

This wasn't a risk, although I do understand the anxiety when newly diagnosed.
