« on: July 20, 2012, 02:43:56 am »
I had unprotected sex with hiv + woman (she told me later when I started to have symptoms) on 5 feb. and some days later rash on upper leg (small red spots) and very dry cough. I didn’t pay attention but on april high fever (>39) for 2-3 days and since then my lymph nodes are bigger and I have muscle pains on legs,  oral warts and white stripes in my mouth. Tests all negative on 12 weeks antibodies and p24 and then only elisa on 15, 18 and 21 week. I know you can’t make diagnosis only from symptoms and my doctor says that it’s anxiety and need to rest but I ‘m terrified. Before that I was very healthy I take no drugs and I had no phobias. I want to ask if it’s possible to be infected and after so much time the test is negative.

You don't have HIV, you have a conclusive negative test result.

Smoking pot in NO WAY affects the HIV testing process. You are reliably negative.

No, not without having additional risks after the initial risk for which the person had been tested.

No, but touching them all the time to see if they're swollen can irritate them and make them swell.

If you continue to feel unwell, work with your doctor to find out what, if anything, is actually wrong with you. Whatever that may be, you have more than conclusively ruled hiv out of the picture.

YOU DO NOT HAVE HIV!!!

How on earth are you going to contract HIV from anyone that doesn't have HIV? Now that question didn't make a bit of sense.

No, it would not make any difference  having intercourse with someone else as long as the intercourse was with a condom.

You're HIV negative. Stop with the drama and get on with your life.

Dear Andy, in my last blood test i have very low IgG,IgM,IgE in generall, not against specific antigens and only IgA is normal(low too but normal). my doc said i have to do some more examinations and i meet him on tuesday. do you think that these facts could affect my hiv tests? have you heard something. thanx but i cant wait until tuesday. ps to avoid misunderstundings it's not drama to have hiv. it's drama to have symptoms and pains and no diagnosis.

Hey, this is more again of you making drama about HIV when you have reliably tested negative.

Whatever maybe going on with you physically has nothing to do with HIV.

Special,

Why are you fretting about RNA tests when you are already conclusively hiv negative? You do NOT need RNA testing. It would be a waste of time, money and resources in your situation.

YOU DO NOT HAVE HIV.

Once again (and for the LAST time), if you feel unwell, see a doctor. You might be missing something serious by chasing a virus you have already ruled out of the picture.

YOU DO NOT HAVE HIV!!!!

If you read the Welcome Thread before posting like you're supposed to, you will have read the following posting guideline:

Quote

Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). If you continue to post excessively after one Time Out, you may be given a second Time Out which will last eight weeks. There is no third Time Out - it is a permanent ban. The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

Please consider yourself warned!

To Ann: FACTS
Until march healthy 30y male. no meds
in march unprotected sex with + woman
from march until today many hiv related symptoms
blood test extrem low IgG and IgM (according to dr. not able to produce antibodies)
Hiv Duo(with p24) all negatives so i suppose HIV 1 is not
I only ask if pcr can detect HIV 2 virus!
To Rapid: you enjoy not answering. i cant explain otherwise

Accept the facts you don't have HIV or seek professional mental help as to why you can't accept the facts.

Special,

No. There are two different RNA tests for hiv 1 and hiv 2. You most likely had an hiv 1 RNA.

It sounds to me like you need a different doctor. If it were true that you were not producing antibodies, you would be very ill indeed. The body doesn't just stop producing antibodies to one single pathogen - it stops producing all antibodies. Go find a doctor who doesn't share your hiv-myopia.

You tested hiv antibody negative because you do NOT have hiv. It's as simple as that.

I'm giving you that time out you've been warned about. Do not attempt to create a new account to get around your time out because if you do, you will be permanently banned.
