Gummy Multi-Vitamins/Vitamins?
« on: March 29, 2011, 12:27:36 pm »
Sorry if this has been asked already but has anyone tried these? Are gummy vitamins just as good as regular vitamin tablets?

I saw some at the drugstore and also read online that they taste good and all just like regular gummies (and yes they are for adults). People say they are more easily to tolertate of course.

But I'm not sure if they are just as good (potent) as a regular vitamins/multi-vitamins. Right now I take: a once-a-day mutli vitamin/mineral tablet, and 2 1000iu vitamin d soft gels daily. Not that they are a problem or anything to swallow (the multi does smell horrible though) but I just want something that I can enjoy more and dont have to carry a bottle of water around all the time just to take them.

Any help would be appreciated...thanks.

I'd compare the labels of what you currently take and those of the gummy variety.  If they're similar and you want the added benefit of a gummy--go for it.  Due to GI issues with mine, I take all my vitamins after dinner.  Works for me.  I'd also suggest you talk to your doctor about it and see what she/he says.

multi-vitamins make me puke, so I don't take any; but I love gummy worms and gummy bears. MMMM ;D

and, i agree, check the labels. if the stuff inside is the same, take the ones you prefer ;)

Try the gummies then. Everyone says they taste exactly like regular gummies, and dont have a weird taste at all.
