Paid for it and walked out of it

What movie, shows, concerts, have you walked out of.

The film Les Miserables has been getting mixed reviews.  I walked out of that hideous Broadway show. (I was on a date and we went back to his place and screwed.)

I had a smart cookie gal pal who taught me the pleasure of walking out of movies.  Years ago a Madonna movie was a good bet for a walkout, for me. I walked out of Dick Tracy and Evita. Definitely a fan, but went to her Broadway show Speed the Plow with another fan and we walked out!

I can pretty much smell the mainstream films that will be stinkers for me and manage to avoid them, but I still get snared by awful art house fare. I walked out of Beasts of the Southern Wild cause I was hungry and wanted to go to the nearby red light district where there are also the best kebab/falafel joints and good people watching. A similar kind of slumming but not exactly the same as me watching Beasts, an experience that felt airless and dead, though the girl was cinematic.

Wow...we definitely have different tastes...Les Mis was my all-time favorite Broadway show!

On the other hand, I walked out on Sunday in the Park with George bored to tears.

I only remember walking out on one other performance, and it was so ghastly, I can't remember what it was!

That is opposite for sure!  I could sit through any Sondheim.  Well, at least, back in the day. I must have listened to Sunday in the Park recordings a 1000 times, as well.

I just watched the Sweeney Todd film again, love that music, and the film is pretty good IMO.
