Hi Sir/Madam,
It is my humble request to advice on my anxiety. I am a 32 year old man.

I had recently had sex with a girl whom I met online . She is not a CSW as she told me and is working with a switch gear comp.
I knew her from last 3 months and had very good communicatth her. Met with her one time blefore new year eve.
On new years eve we were intoxicated and we had sex.

I used condom while doing it all the times we did.
But during that time I had a open cut in my hand which I got in the morning and I had once put my finger with cut her vagina and fingered.

I also happened to lick her vagina. My tooth had a little bleeding in the morning when I brushed.

The girl is in good health and I even asked her twice if she is hiv +ve but she told she is not.
The girl stopped talking to me after I asked her twice and she got offended.

I am too scared and not sure what to do.
Now I have throat sore which improved than yesterday but not cured fully.
Also have dry mouth at night.

As i said before the girl looked normal, eating and drinking habits are normal.
no noticeable health problems, do u still think it is possible for me to get hiv from her?
If she is under medication the HIV levels should be low, is ther still a chance to get HIV from her?

I have a sore throat for a week but no fever, but have too much anxiety.

Can you suggest any test that I can take now to confirm the status at 18 days?

Sore throat about a week now. Not fully getting cured. No fever but to much anxiety. Had cold a week before but it is gone mostly.

Licking her vagina is not a risk, this is not how HIV is transmitted end of story, neither is the cut on your finger.

Eating and drinking habits ... ? What the hell are you implying? That people living with HIV have drinking problems or something?

Your post is highly stigmatised so let me explain this once only. You can not tell by looking at someone they are living with HIV and people can live long normal healthy lives, also HIV effects all walks of life.

The girl stopped talking to you by the sounds of things because you are bothering her with irrelevant questions. Leave her alone and move on with your life. This was not a HIV risk so no need to test or if you like see it this way test whenever you like as nothing you mentioned could result in HIV transmission

Ok Jim,
Thanks for your reply, It was really helpful. I was not able to focus on anything due to this phobia.Your advice will help.
Will you suggest to get tested after 1 month or so, just to be sure?

I would suggest dealing with the phobia and not entertaining this. It simply was not a risk, no point in spesific testing.

Instead start working on your coping skills and dealing with your irrational fears so they no longer control you, if you don't do so already face to face support like a therapist would be a good place to start.

In terms of sex and HIV move on though. Keep using condoms and as a routine test at least yearly for easier to transmit STI's and HIV.

Jim, I just noticed, that I have red patch of skin  on the right side of my chest and it is little itchy,
It is one of the symptoms right. Moreover I feel little more cold these days and feeling I am shaking while others in my family wont feel a thing.
Sore throat improved a lot after gargling todsy, I am doing it three time

I m worried still, can you suggest what should I do next.

Your symptoms have nothing to do with HIV and nothing you posted here was a transmission risk.

If you are sick see a doctor and let them treat whatever is making you sick.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions.

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

More information on HIV Basics, PEP, TaSP and Transmission can be found through the links in my signature to our POZ pages, this includes information on HIV Testing

Kind regards

Jim
