Title: AMG 08..Names/Arrivals/Departures.

Hi everyone

Please use this thread when you have your flight and Hotel room booked..it helps us to keep track of how many will be will be going Mexico City...I know there are some other threads on the go but we seem to have lost track of them and who has said they will be attending.

Ric will keep us updated with a list of the names etc.

Please use this only if you are attending AMG 08..thanks for your cooperation.

Arriving... on the 1st August for the IAC,
Arriving... at the AMG Hotel on the 9th.
Leaving... on the 20th of August

I'm still trying to how figure out how to update this important information while working within the 72 hour lock on my ability to update a prior post.  Mods please help.  We want a chart that can be updated as new information is posted so we can have an accurate listing of arrivals and departures for AMG 08.  I'm at a loss right now.

Ok, it's official; here's the itinerary for the Davids and Bonnie:

Arriving: Wednesday Aug. 13 @ 2:40 p.m.  Amer. Airlines 675
Departing: Monday Aug. 18 @ 10:00 a.m.  Amer. Airlines 2272

It looks like we'll be on the same flight coming in with some of you guys!  We'll have to have a celebratory drink (or two) on the plane!

edited to add: looks like there are a bunch of us arriving within minutes of each other - see you at baggage claim!  Ric, Mini and I are leaving on Monday, not on Momday..lol

Hey gang,

I meant to chime in earlier, but I had keyboard issues. (Note to all: coffee and keyboards don't play well together).  ::)

Anyway, here's my itinerary:

Arriving at 2:40 P.M. in Mexico City on Wednesday, Aug. 13, on American Airlines Flight 675

Leaving Mexico City at 10 A.M. Wednesday, Aug. 20, on American Airlines 2272.

Jody and I are rooming together this year. This is going to be such a blast.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

As a retired American Airlines stew, I have offered many prayers for the cabin crew of Flight 675.  I hope that they enjoy the friendship that our group exudes.  I hope that one of you lets the head stew know of your presence on board and after the seat belt light is turn off they announce that you are on board and that you can each stand and be acknowleded by your felllow travelers cheers.

Darling, this happens on each and every flight I've been on since I was a young royal-in-training (read: Queen/Princess...)

But seriously, they will announce us if we request? And not seriously, are you sure they won't want to warn the other paSsengers?  Because at this point, as of this evening, Row 17 is me, Santi, the Davids and Bonnie. If things get ugly, I may charge a toll.  If people aren't wearing the proper travelling outfits, they will pay the toll, allow a makeover or be locked in the loo until they make the right decision.

and if you're really worried about a mugging, I have a little trick that makes me feel more secure...a decoy wallet. It has an ancient ID,  a couple of ancient tricks' business cards, a couple of bucks and a Blockbuster card. I'll hand it over in a heartbeat.

Ok.  So, who's missing from this list?  We all want to be there to greet you, but please give us a clue as to your arrival time so we don't have to set our alarm clocks without a good reason.

I think what's happening is this, with the deadline for making hotel reservations approaching, some members who plan to attend have booked their rooms.  They are also possibly holding off "officially" confirming based upon individual issues.

This year's gathering is coming upon us faster than I could have imagined, likely faster than most of us could have imagined.  I can't wait to see who is coming.

I'm really getting excited, but a little overwhelmed with how fast the time is flying.  I've still got tons to do before the wee one and I leave.
