Hello
First of all im sorry for creating a new account but i get into the bad habit of forgetting passwords. And i cant find my old post to add this question along with it so, sorry! anyways....on sept 12th i had sex with a guy i met at a bar...we used a condom and even so, he did not ejaculate while havintg intercouse. But ive had a cold on and off for the last two weeks and the glands in my underarms and groin were very sore this week. the groin pain has gone away, one armpit is still a bit sore. Now i am a total W.W. and i get paranoid easily, but since we used a condom (i always use protection each time i have sex), did not have oral sex, what would my risk be? im hoping im just stressing so much over these unrelated pains. thanks

Condoms provide very effective protection. Keep using them everytime you have intercourse. No exceptions.
Your symptoms have nothing to do with HIV. If they persist you should discuss them with your doctor.
(Re)read the lesson on transmission to which you can find a link in the Welcome Thread at the top of this section.
You're worrying needlessly about HIV in relation to this recent incident.
Cheers,

ok just wanted to clear up one more thing....in another sexual encounter with an ex bf the condom may have slipped a bit while we were having sex..when he pulled out it was still mostly on...we discussed this the other day and he said he didnt know his status...and hes had unprotected sex once...anyways...im still having sore nodes and getting an HIV test next week because im a paranoid head case for no reason
anyways is there reason to worry if there was slippage? thanks.

No, you don't have a reasn to worry, just like your first worry. NO RISK...

Slippage is something that happens frequently.
As long as the condom was essentially still on and the head of his penis was covered it would still have been protecting you.
