Undetectable

Today, I received my test results that showed I was now undetectable. A few minutes after I read the results, I received a phone call from my HIV doctor. She said I don't know if you had seen your results yet but...

It took a year and three months to become undetectable. It took adding a medication, then completely changing it all to become undetectable.

My doctor told me congratulations. That felt silly to me. All I did was take my medication daily. I didn't really do anything special. But, it still felt nice and i feel very good.

I received my first covid vaccine on Thursday the 18th and I go back on the 8th of April for the second. I was very afraid of covid but now pretty soon I'll be fully vaccinated. I know that I will need to continue to take precautions but some of that fear and anxiety are gone.

I'm pretty stoked not gonna lie.

         ojo.          Congratulations!!!... it took me from January 1995 to March 2007 to become UD, imagine how I felt when I got the news...keep up the good work, only with discipline taking your meds and a good attitude, is the way to take back control of your life so, we can keep enjoying life and making plans for our future...hugs

Always nice to see Not Detected written on your reports. I was stressed waiting to read it, and I only took 14 weeks. Keep it going.
