Title: Police Video Prompts Allegations of HIV Discrimination
Post by: tednlou2 on September 21, 2012, 12:00:23 am
This officer needs suspended, while he is forced to take sensitivity training and a course on HIV transmission.  He finds medication in the car, and asks what they are for.  He is told for HIV.  He says they should have told him about being poz, before he searched the vehicle.  He says he doesn't want to take home anything to his family.  He also makes remarks about medical marijuana being a scam.

The video is long, but they've provided a transcript.

My personal favorite quote from Officer Exemplary:  "It's a relatively nicer area, and we usually don't have a lot of stuff like that around here."

Yup, fire, fire, fire his ass.  See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya!

I'm glad you posted it -- it's a reminder that at the current rate of education spreading people know more about Wendy's hamburgers than they'll ever know about HIV.
