pls can someone advice me on this issue,i got my new lab result on phone from my Id doc that my cd4 186 and vl less than 50copies which's undetectable,but i'm still don't know if there's any high risk of opportunistic infections with my cd4 number.
27/12/07 cd4 20 vl 1000000
10/4/08 cd4 97 vl 63
1/7/08 cd4 186 vl undetectable

It seems that your numbers are going in the right direction. Do you know what your CD4% is?
Also are you on meds?

You have certainly accomplished a major goal by testing undetectable. Until your CD4 reaches and maintains a level of 200 most doctors prescribe a prophylaxis of Bactrim/Septra to combat the risk of PCP. Check with your doctor about that. Chin up, you're certainly looking good.
ps I'm curious why folks don't ask these questions of their doctor?
