You are worrying needlessly about HIV. In the entire history of the HIV epidemic there has never been a confirmed case of transmission to a guy through his receiving a blowjob.

It's safe to say that you aren't going to make history by becoming the first.

The only confirmed means of sexual transmission of HIV are via unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. If you consistently use condoms for those activities you will be well protected against HIV. It really is just that simple.

Cheers.

Thanks andy u relieved my mind i guess i dont need to worry anymore or get a test.I wonder why certain websites say u can get hiv from oral.I read a couple of these sites where they said that u could and i got scared. But i trust u know what u are talking about so i will try not to worry anymore.I might even ask that lady if she will give me another one.

What if a woman swallows cum from a man that has hiv could she get it.Just curious

big,

There's never been a proven, documented case of anyone becoming hiv positive from any sort of oral sex.

Getting a blowjob isn't a risk because not only is saliva not infectious, but it also contains over a dozen different proteins and enzymes that damage hiv and render it unable to infect.

Here's what you need to do in order to remain hiv negative:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together. To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST OVER THIS BLOWJOB, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results. Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Had you read our rather extensive "Lessons" section, you would learn that there is no HIV risk in getting a blow job.

"Many people, especially in the gay community, turn to oral sex as a safer alternative in the age of AIDS. And with HIV rates rising, people need to remember that oral sex is safer sex. It's a reasonable alternative."

Posting Guidelines

Please do not start a new thread every time you have another question or thought - regardless if you think your questions are related to each other or not. I've merged your threads here. Please follow our rule and keep all of your entries in this same thread.

You've actually had this question answered before but I will say it just once again. In the entire history of the HIV epidemic no guy has ever been confirmed to have been infected through getting a blowjob. It's safe to say you are not going to make history by becoming the first. Getting a blowjob is not a risk for HIV. Period.

Let it go, no testing is need and just get on with your life.

Why do you ask the same question over and over? The answers are not going to change, except in tone.

Please stop opening new threads every time that you have a question. You have been told before. Please stick to our guidelines.

And no, what you're asking here represents absolutely no risk for HIV transmission.
"I have tried hard--but life is difficult, and I am a very useless person. I can hardly be said to have an independent existence. I was just a screw or a cog in the great machine I called life, and when I dropped out of it I found I was of no use anywhere else."

Big,

Once again, I've merged your new thread into your original thread - where you should post all your additional thoughts or questions. It helps us to help you when you keep all your additional thoughts or questions in one thread. It doesn't matter how long it has been since you last posted in your thread or if the subject matter is different.

If you need help finding your thread when you come here, click on the "Show own posts" link under your name in the left-hand column of any forum page.

Please also read through the Welcome Thread so you can familiarize yourself with our Forum Posting Guidelines. Thank you for your cooperation.

You already know that getting a blowjob is not a risk for hiv infection because saliva isn't infectious. Why should having your ass licked be any different? NO RISK.
