Booty Call !!!!

The HPV vaccine is being tested against anal cancer. The vaccine has just been mandated for sixth-grade girls in Texas to prevent cervical cancer. Doctors think it might also block anal cancer, which " is most common among men with histories of receptive anal intercourse." ARGUMENTS: 1) " The cervix is similar biologically to the anus, so there's plenty of hope that it will work there also." 2) " The anal cancer rate for gay men is similar to cervical cancer rates before the advent of Pap Smears." Doctors are advising some gay men to get routine anal Pap Smears. The vaccine's producer, Merck, is testing it on 4,000 men, including a sample of 500 gay men. ( Shouldn't this be the other way around? )

Now you know Auntie Doxie, with the topic called Booty Call, I was definitely coming to look... ;D After reading further the title is still appropriate. Color me stupid because I did not know men got anal pap smears. It makes sense but never thought...What was I thinking, it is 2007. :o ..Learning things about gay men and their lifestyles is  very educational. Not being sarcastic but just saying....

I think that's why women and gay men get along so well...we have much in common. Now we can add Pap Smears to the list.

Just caught something the other night on the news about this. Not all, are in favor of the Govenor's mandate, in Texas. Apparently he also has some connection with the drug maker. Wasn't able to catch the whole story

Current Meds ; Viramune / Epzicom Eliquis, Diltiazem. Pravastatin 80mg, Ezetimibe. UPDATED 2/18/24
 Tested positive in 1985,.. In October of 2003, My t-cell count was 16, Viral load was over 500,000, Percentage at that time was 5%. I started on  HAART on October 24th, 2003.

 As of Oct 2nd, 2023, Viral load Undetectable.

Well my sisters use to call me and my mother, The Fag Hags because we always had a few gay friends. I don't have anything against my hetero friends but gay friends just seem more laid back and less stress unless you got a drama queen. Did I tell you my I.D doc and my Gyn are gay? It's a sign, I'm telling you, Doxie... ;)..A good omen.
