Thanks Nic.  I hope I passed  LOL!

BTW there's a black sedan w/o license plates parked in front of my house.  Tinted windows and 3 antenna's.  Do you think it's the Secret Service?

Nope not me. We are sharing a room so there will be ample time for me to stalk/molest him while he's asleep.

got a little  surprise  with the  schedule  for the  White  House  tour, the  Congressmans office also got a us reservation for the  Capitol tour  same list  of  names....

1... WH  tour FRIDAY 27  starts at  12:30  need to be there 12:00.....

2.  Capitol  tour  SATURDAY 28th 2:30  need  to be there by  1:30
there is  a  brief info  sheet  about what to  expect and a list of  "prohibited  items"  for  both tours

for  Capitol   ,,,,,  www.visitthecapitol.gov.

for the  White House    www.whitehouse.gov/about/tours-and-events

I have the  list of names  if you  dont remember  who  you are..we will
need  to  figure out the  timing for  taking the  Metro  to get us there...anyone  familiar enough with the  Metro  please  chime in...

You will clearly want to use Metro from the hotel.  Orange line to either McPherson Square or Federal Triangle.  If you are starting in the White House Visitor Center, I would recommend Federal Triangle.  It is a short walk west from the stop to the Visitor Center and then further on to the White House.  I will not be able to join you since you are taking the tour on Friday.  It is well worth the effort!  Read the attached link so that you are clear about what you cannot bring (no cameras of any kind!)  There is no where to put them, so simply don't bring them.

Kinda wish I'd have signed up, that's 2 events that I'll have to miss and find something to entertain myself with.  Or someone!

:( Yeah I wanted to go as well, but my hubby didn't want to, I didn't want to argue with him and leave him in the hotel room, it would have been a long flight back to ABQ if I did  ;D

Perhaps you could leave him in the room for about 20 minutes?.... ;D
