             ojo.            Hi there!!

I’m sorry to read you are hiv positive, was it confirmed your dx with a western blot test?…tell us more about you, did you get more blood tests, like viral load or cd4?.

You are not alone anymore, we are here for you until you start to understand and accept your dx, i know It’s hard that get this kind of dx but, fortunately, due to the highly effective meds, this condition has become treatable and you will be able to continue with your life as soon as you learn to live with the virus. Keep strong and keep us posted, again, you are not alone!!…hugs

Hi, welcome to the forum. I think most of us were scared when first told, I know I was. And I was diagnosed in 2016, an age of modern day drugs, which I knew about. Still couldn't help being scared though. I would hate to have been diagnosed pre 1996, no effective treatment.

As Tonny2 says, you have nothing to really worry about. Where do you live? Do you have access to medication and if so what are you taking. If you give the forum members some information you will get better feed back. They can advise on side effects, and offer reassurance.

Take care
Dave
