I am just not naive anymore...
« on: December 02, 2013, 06:51:54 pm »
Today i took the very first pill of my lifelong therapy: Eviplera (complera)
My CD4 were just a bit lower than 350 and VL around 50.000... So my DOC started me on Eviplera...
I guess i am not going to deal with side issues...well i hope so...first day as an ex/naive poz guy just gone as usual...
You need coolin', baby, I'm not foolin',

Good luck.

Think how great it'll be when you go UD.  :)

Rather, you took the first step towards defeating the virus inside of you and rebuilding your immune system!

Also, don't be too sure about the lifelong therapy thing. Advances are afoot. Remember that :)

Sure! I was not complaining at all...in fact i was pressing my doc to start meds even before...but i had to wait until my CD4 went down < 350, due to guidelines.
I think that an healthy lifestyle will balance the side issues and i rather prefer to eradicate the virus asap than wait it to damage my health more and more.
Plus, my immune system will be grateful to HAART as i use to overstress it with crazy intensive training, being a semi-pro athlete!
I feel confident HAART it's the right thing...
