I am reprinting OFFICIAL EMAILS FROM THE LOUISIANA ADAP in my blog http://www.hivdrugtruth.com where officials are trying to shut down HIV assistance sites, harass site owners, and even label HIV positive people as "scum" for not obeying the wishes of Louisiana ADAP. >:(
The site in question is http://www.aids-drug-assistance-program.com that lists government contacts for the 50 states and gives instructions how to apply for ADAP and other programs to find FREE HIV MEDS.
The state of Louisiana feels other sites should not be helping its states citizens, because they believe (even though they are capped out and shut down to new enrollment) that they are the BEST able to help people get medicines and treatment.
Be careful, even this poz forums blog may be next in their sites to attempt to shut down! God forbid we are allowed to exchange information with others and try to help ALL HIV POSITIVE PEOPLE SURVIVE IN A BRUTALLY CHILLED UNCARING WORLD!
I AM SHOCKED THAT WITH THEIR ADAP IN CRISES, AND THE STATE OF LOUISIANA IS MORE WORRIED ABOUT OTHER HIV POSITIVE PATIENTS TRYING TO HELP HIV POSITIVE PATIENTS FIND OTHER SOURCES FOR FREE MEDICINE!!!
GET READY TO BE SHOCKED, DISGUSTED, AND IN STUNNED DISBELIEF WHEN YOU SEE THESE OFFICIAL EMAILS AND THE STATE'S CRUSADE TO SHUT DOWN OTHER SITES TRYING TO HELP THEIR OWN KIND!!! :o
YES FOLKS, THEY ACTUALLY ADDRESS THEIR EMAILS TO AND I QUOTE: "DEAR SCUM"
The state officials email addys are listed if you want to send your opinions to them as to how they lack compassion and care in our treatment!
Please visit the article, grab your Pepto to keep from vomiting in disgust when you see these emails, and send your scathing opinion in an email to these ASSHOLES and let them know that WE HIV POSITIVE PEOPLE ARE ORGANIZED AND WE SHOULD NEVER BE TREATED BY ANY GOVERNMENT LIKE "SCUM"!

Wow Nate's site "trying to shut down HIV assistance sites". I'm sure that's not what he means but he said it himself.
If you trust a website where the owner displays such poor understanding of English then you only have yourself to blame.
