Yes,

That is what people around me have been telling me. But I can't see it many times because I actually have it.  I guess it is easy to say don't worry when it is not our asses in the fire. But, I think that I do what I can, hopefully I will get better, and stop letting this disease limit me. There are just so many issues with the old HIV. Hope you are feeling better.

Sometimes I do that too honey, mostly when I make guesstimates of my future with HIV. Tons of issues as Rob said. Access to meds and affordability being near the very top. I look at the state of things for pozzies here in the U.S. and my blood boils because of the P word: PROFITS. I sort of knew this already...the ACT UP march last Thursday opened my eyes even more. But I know what you mean. I tell myself "Oh Alex, take it day by day. It's the best way and you won't get angry." However, that's easier said than done, especially since I'm getting older

HIV will not rule my life - I refuse to let it. Naturally, anyone who has HIV infection will run into problems along the way. The trick is in learning not to get RUN OVER by them. Then again, who ever said life would be a cakewalk? As someone wiser than me once told me, pain is inevitable but suffering is optional.

On really bad days, I just take one of these:

HAVIDOL

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Problems can be avoided if you take HAVIDOL only when you are able to immediately benefit from its effects. To fully benefit from HAVIDOL patients are encouraged to engage in activities requiring exceptional mental, motor, and consumptive coordination. HAVIDOL is not for you if you have abruptly stopped using alcohol or sedatives. Havidol should be taken indefinitely. Side effects may include mood changes, muscle strain, extraordinary thinking, dermal gloss, impulsivity induced consumption, excessive salivation, hair growth, markedly delayed sexual climax, inter-species communication, taste perversion, terminal smile, and oral inflammation. Very rarely users may experience a need to change physicians. Talk to your doctor about HAVIDOL

"Faith" - in yourself...  That just because it happened to one, does not always equate to you having it happen to me.   I  have always been one of those who if he finds a "scratch," a "flaw," is to simply chunk it or write it off as broken, busted, worthless.   I find it harder to do that when it is "I" or "someone close to me"  that now has that scratch or flaw.   Trying to find a loophole, a way out....   A guarantee...   I guess that's what keeps me coming back here...   Hope that I will find through you guys, a way out and through....  I must admit,  it is getting a bit easier and a bit less troublesome as time passes from that date in September, but boy,  I feel sometimes that will never shake this off completely....  I suppose the idea here is as Daniel says, is true...  But I just want in every fiber of my being to eradicate this feeling of feeling "scratched and dented - different."

Off to the body shop I go.....

Love,

Eric
