Please, send my father positive energy

         ojo.       Hello everyone!

I just found out that my 87 years old father has tested positive for COVID-19, he lives in Mexico I in the USA, I tried to call him on the phone and I wasn’t able to get in touch with him, tho my brother  did talk to him, my father is at home with a sore throat, he is pretty healthy but I’m concerned due to his age. Let’s see what happens, latter on I will call him again...just wanted to share... Thanks for reading...hugs.                   ojo

Hi Tonny,

Sorry to hear about this. I wish ur dad a very speedy recovery. Treatment has advance a bit now & Dr’s are more ready to treat them now compare in early this year. Again, hope dad get well soon.

Really sorry to hear this, wishing your father a quick return to health.
Hopefully you can talk to him soon as that will provide at least some peace of mind I'm sure.

Current Meds ; Viramune / Epzicom Eliquis, Diltiazem. Pravastatin 80mg, Ezetimibe. UPDATED 2/18/24
 Tested positive in 1985,.. In October of 2003, My t-cell count was 16, Viral load was over 500,000, Percentage at that time was 5%. I started on  HAART on October 24th, 2003.

 As of Oct 2nd, 2023, Viral load Undetectable.
CD 4 @676 /  CD4 % @ 18 %
Lymphocytes,absolute-3815 (within range)

        ojo.       Hello everyone!

I talked to my father last night, although he couldn’t hear me well, he was on his way to the hospital. He sounded well, no shortness of breath, tho, having diarrhea problems and a sore throat. I will keep you posted...thanks for replying and kind words...hugs.

Update. My father still in the hospital, some breathing problems but not need to entube him yet. I hope he beat COVID as I’ve been fighting hiv, fingers and toes crossed...thanks for the support, it’s a little bit difficult to get information from my father when he is to far away and not knowing or dealing with his present family (my mother divorced him 36 years ago). Tho, I talked to his actual “ and she is going to keep me posted because my father can’t longer do it himself due to his breathing problems...I will keep you posted...thx again.                                                 ojo

         ojo.          Hi everyone!

Update. Unfortunately my father passed away last night due to complications of COVID 19, as I mentioned before, he was doing fine but, last night got a blood clog in his heart, causing a heart attack...R.I.P.

          ojo.          Hi everyone!

Thanks for your support and you kind words...my father was buried yesterday, no funeral services allowed in Mexico for people who die of COVID-19. Now he is resting in peace... I really appreciate the support, thank you everyone who took the time to reply...hugs
