Looking for support for HIV neg boyfriend
« on: February 23, 2010, 09:34:53 am »
Hi everyone!  I am HIV+ and my boyfriend is negative.  He still struggles sometimes with the fears and anxiety of my status.  Are there any other long term gay couples out there in our situation that would be willing to communicate with us to help us over those times when the fear seems to consume us and share thier secrets of a long term 'magnetic' relationship?  There are quesions that he asks that I believe I have the answers to and even read them on this forum but he and both would feel better if we had someone that we could directly communicate with.  Thanks!

Hi Nuke, welcome to the forums.

Why doesn't he get his own account so he can post here himself?

There are plenty of magnetic couples here and hopefully some of them will chime in soon.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

Nukelear,
My boyfriend and I have been together for 7 years, we dated for three years in the early 90's and then got back together in 2003, but remained friends the entire time.  He is positive and I am negative.  I would be more than happy to communicate with him.  If he would like to set up an account on here we can do it on here or if you guys want send me a PM and I will send you guys my email address.

Sebastian1969,

Hi!  Thanks for the reply.  It would be great if you could email me.  My email is public so you should be able to get it off of my profile.

Thanks again!
