Post by: BrooklynGuy on February 01, 2008, 10:42:31 pm: thanks alan and all others for your kind wishes. hard to believe that monday i am going to turn 44 (yikes). actually look at each birthday (and each day for that matter) as a gift. after everything i have been through over the past 2+ years (both my own personal medical problems as well as my devoted partner) we both (my partner's birthday is Febryary 9th, mine is the 4th) count each day together while we fight on as a gift.

My husband took me birthday gift shopping today (although we didn't find what he wants to buy me.

BTW, I do call him my husband because although we are two men, we are legally married (not to get people confused cause I was already asked if I was a woman shrink for always referrnig to my better half as my husband)

Anyhow, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all the other February babies ;D

Happy Birthday Mum!!! My Dad's birthday is today as well, so I've already called him and asked him if he saw his shadow. For some reason, he says that's gotten old after 61 years of it. ;D
