Hi, anyone has experience buying medication from Thai Red Cross in Bangkok? Can I just show my prescription from my doctor (hospital from another country), pay and get the medicine? Or I have to do blood test or see doctors at the red cross?
And what is the operating hours of this Thai Red Cross in Bangkok? Are they still available at 4pm local time?

Yes i fly internationally into BKK for meds and blood tests at the Thai Red Cross.
It's a great place and you will be pleased to utilise its services. The staff there are very helpful and efficient.....and speak English! The prices are amongst the cheapest in BKK.

MEDS:
You will need a prescription from outside, (ie. outside the Thai Red Cross) to get your meds. Not sure if they will accept an overseas prescription? I never asked as I see a local Thai specialist at another institution who prepares one for me. Its worth a try.
If not, the reception staff there will advise you where to find a local BKK doctor to see (but not in the Thai Red Cross). Bring some evidence of your HIV status/ recent lab results etc just in case a local BKK doctor requires to view.
LABS:
You do not need a prescription or letter from a doctor for this. You determine yourself what labs you need and pay the relevant fee.
If you only want to purchase meds (with acceptable prescription) without doing the labs, that's ok.

pharmacy hours differ from general opening hours :
Mon - Fri 08.30am. - 04.30pm. Break 12.00 - 01.00pm.
Sat 08.30am. - 04.00pm. Break 12.00 - 01.00 pm.
