Hi Andy/Ann and all active members,

Recently I went to a massage parlour and a chinese lady gave me a good massage.I am very mcuh aware about all possibilities of Hiv transmissiion
but still have lot of dought

1.She sat down on top of my chest ( where there is ecsyma ) with panties on.Is it possible that while giving me massage she must have
some vaginal secretion making panties wet and then transmitt the virus through chest?

2.Does sex workers who have sex 3-4 times daily also have so much vaginal secretion which makes panties very wet when still on?

3.Will my 3months test ( if I take one) conclusive? I have heard that sometimes the virus does not multiply very fast.I know that antibody
formation is not possible to delay but it is only when virus has made enough copies.Is there any remote chance of virus lying dormant or
multiplying ay a very slow pace?

1.  Impossible.  NO RISK AT ALL, NO HOW - NO WAY.

2.  We have no way of knowing how wet these women's vaginas get during the day, for heaven's sake.  I would suppose it varies from vagina to vagina, but there's no real reason to wonder about it anyway.   

3.  A 3 month test will be conclusive, but YOU DO NOT NEED TESTING for this incident.

You claim to be well informed about the possibilities of HIV transmission. Yet what you write you're concerned about  doesn't support that. As Hunter has said to you there was absolutely no risk for transmission in the circumstances you're concerned about.

Getting tested is just a waste of money. You had no risk. Your energies would be better spent reading our lesson on Transmission. There's a link to it in the Welcome thread which opens this section.

This is not an HIV situation and there's no need for testing.

Thanks for answere.I read welcome thread and found that it is NOT IMPOSSIBLE to convert after 90 days though very rare chance.
I know my exposre is EXTREMELY LOW.But again theorotical possible.

Keeping in mind above 2 points I need to know when is the best final time to test ( I am going to take one , definately . Just to put
my mind at ease ).Only confusion is 3 months or 6 months.

I did not got reply of my initial query about possibility of slow viral replication.Is it scientifically possible that a viral multiplies slowly making
copies at a very slow pace and ultimately delaying antibody formation even in a healthy person?

The only people who MIGHT take a little longer than usual to seroconvert are people currently on cancer chemotherapy, people currently on anti-rejection drugs following organ transplant, or people who have been injecting street drugs, every day, for YEARS.

The type of exposure makes no difference. A test performed three months after exposure will be conclusive.

Remember, you did NOT have a risk and you don't need to test over this massage/wet panties incident. Really, you don't.
