Does anyone else think that meds Or hiv hightens your thoughts &
desire for sex? As i approach 49 years I believed I would be less
interested, the exact opposite is true!

I have been completely uninterested in sex for the first time in 30 years. But I was just diagnosed in jan 09. Hope to get back in the saddle again soon so to speak. Actually I am using my much clearer head to get a lot of things done. Don't know how I ever accomplished anything before

Are you sure it's the meds or HIV that is heightening your interest in sex?  Or could it be other factors in your life?  Not that it couldn't be the meds or HIV, but I personally don't get the connection.

Regards,

Henry

It's been about seven months now since I tested positive and had no interest in looking for sex-- but now, I think I've turned a corner because it feels like I'm in heat!!  :)

I was diagnosed at 19 and my sex life only increased and soon I was doing things I never truly wanted or thought of before.   Many factors went into this of course, rejection being the main one.  8 years later I still think I focus too much on sex.... lately I been telling myself I forget what it's like to date.    ???

I think about it a lot, but I don't act upon it. Unless it is with another poz man. The thing I've been thinking more about is being in a relationship, or the lack of one. sometimes it tears me down emotionally.
