500 Dollars at the Dentist...ugh does it ever end

This is just a rant because I am in a pissy mood.

I have been so stressed lately that I have been grinding my teeth at night.  Well, turns out it is getting bad and I need a mouthguard for when I go to bed.  500 bucks out of pocket because the insurance wont cover it, of course. 

A mouthguard...like it isnt hard enough to get laid.

Maybe I will bedazzle "fuck me" on the front of it.

I hear ya...  I just had my first root canal and crown.  Holy shit (even with insurance)!

Next year I am going to put a few hundred more on my health spending account just in case I have another dental issue.  If I don't then great because I just learned that you can put massages on HSA cards if your doc writes a prescription for them  :)

Jason (who's keeping his fingers crossed that he'll have $ left on his HSA card next year)

But seriously, ever think of getting a few Indian Head Massages to loosen up your jaw area and release some tension? It would probably work out cheaper, kill more than one bird with one stone and be a lot more pleasant besides.

500 dollars is a lot for a mouth guard....you might have shopped around and found one for 250...but it is still the best investment for your mouth.  I wear one and have been pretty much trouble free since starting to wear it

Grillz!!!  I love it.

I am sure I will choke on this thing in my sleep.  I have no luck lately.  

Indian Head Massages?   I will have to check that out.  I usually go for a massage every few months to this awesome spa here in NYC.  It is Tibetan based massage and the whole spa is so relaxing that when I leave I almost always get hit by a car because I am so relaxed.   You gotta be on your game in NYC, that is probably a big part of my stress.

Hey Pete, I know that feeling. When I'm in Liverpool for clinic, I usually get a rub in the afternoon and I float to the airport for the trip back home. Nearly missed my flight a few times! One of the massage therapists does a mean IHM - it includes your shoulders too. Bliss. I could do with one right now!
