Every little chip against stigma is a step in the right direction.   :)

Recently we had some numpties in Australia trying to insinuate an independent candidate for parliament had HIV and was therefore unfit to be elected.

She doesn't have HIV, but the rumour mongering didn't hurt her vote one bit. She won the seat with a 20% swing against the incumbent party.

Saw that this morning. good on him for speaking out on his status in public.

I was hoping whilst watching it, that he would have really hammered out in plain, direct terms about U=U, really that exact point across, as most people would not read into his statement nor understand about the potential to eradicate transmission rates. I know I certainly would not have not understood prior to getting Dx'ed.

Still good job, well done, and a big thank you to him for speaking out.

We need more public figures to do this, for them to look directly into the camera, and say about U=U and no need to wear a bio hazard suit when around us! ;D  ::)
