I do a lot of work to save endangered species and I am especially concerned when whales are being hunted by countries like Iceland, Norway and Japan. So, I thought I would ask your help for this one as well --- Lapidation of women in Iran.  Nothing to do with "endangered species", though!
If you feel like watching the video, be warned that the scenes are very strong and unpleasant.  If after watching the video you still want to make your voice heard, please, take a minute to sign a petition for Amnesty International.

P.S. I am sorry, but I don't have the video in English. Basically, the speaker explains the process, decisions, etc; and how the size of the stones is important so that it will not kill the women too fast.  They are supposed  to suffer! Sometimes it takes hours for them to die!

I don't need to see the video. I have heard first hand accounts of these travesties from people who's mothers and sister were brutally killed. These women are also sometime drowned, shot, beheaded and even burned for petty and sometime non existent crimes. It is impossible for me not hate these people for the way they treat their women.

There was a 16 year old girl killed a few months back for adultery. In essence she was just a girl with no mother, and rebellious. Btw judges rape them before the execution so they can't go to heaven!

I don't need to see the video either I know what goes on over there.

There are no words in the English dictionary that I could use to descibe how I feel about this treatment towards women in Iran.. hate and disgust don't even come close.

If you can translate I will certainly fill out the petition.
