Abrasions and cuts concerned
Hello experts,
I am glad I have found this forum since most websites dont give me a clear answer or give me more fear.
I am someone who is not very sexually active and always wear a condom during intercourse and gets tested for stds including hiv anually.
So in november I had sex with a sex worker (status unknown) fully protected with a condom for both oral and vaginal sex ( I didnt go down on her). Later that day I found some cuts/abrasions due to itch in between my legs (jock itch not bleeding if I touched them no blood will be on finger). Did not mind because I used condoms so I think i didnt run any risk.
So my concern is hiv being transmitted through my small cuts contact with vaginal fluid
I am afraid because I did not see this as a risk so i didnt think about pep and I feel bad because i used condoms and i am anxious, as i have a doctors appointment tomorrow, like every february.
During the past 3 months i have had sore throat(twice, currently experiencing one), itchness in my body (no rash) and maybe night sweats (but once and think its due to my room temperature or anxiety)
This was my only sexual encounter.
What is my risk based on this experience? And should i test?

Congratulations :) You are taking the correct actions to NOT be infected with HIV.
The situation you described was not a risk for HIV. Once outside the body, HIV is not able to infect. Small skin irritations or cuts are not a vector for HIV transmission.

Reducing Your HIV risks:
With no exceptions, use condoms correctly and consistently for anal or vaginal intercourse
Talk to a healthcare provider about PrEP as another layer of protection
Get tested yearly for HIV and other STIs.
If you don’t use condoms and/or PrEP, test more frequently
Some sexual practices described as safe in terms of acquiring HIV still pose a risk for other more easily acquired STIs. It is possible to show no signs or symptoms from an STI so testing is the only way to know.
Get tested at least yearly for STIs, including but not limited to HIV, and more frequently if condomless intercourse occurs.
What’s the ONLY way to know if you’ve been infected by HIV or an STI?
Get tested.

Asked and answered, no HIV risk as Michael has explained.
So no point asking again about symptoms. Move on with your life!

Hi yall, and thank you for answering and all you do here
Thankfully I ended up going to the doctor for a health check and actually got my hiv test (4th generation), as expected from you NEGATIVE
Unfortunately I also contracted covid and it was probably the reason I was sick
I was ready to move and leave all this fear behind but fears and stress got the best of me and found articles saying that covid has interfered with the results of HIV tests
Man, I was so happy and ready to move on as i waited 91 days to get tested with no other exposure in between but then another anxiety fear issue that I dont know if its rational or not
I dont know if i should seek mental support or if I should re-test
My doctors sucks at answering question all because of the cheap health insurance i have

You had no HIV risk, no exposure, no need to test, no drama required.
I wish you well but if you post about this no HIV situation again it will result in a 28 day ban. If you are unable to move on with your life then consider talking to a psychiatrist.
