I know that a lot of you have posted about wanting a gathering in DC. I just saw this on the bottom of one of the Aidsmeds screens. It's a gathering of people infected with and affected by HIV / AIDS. There is training on the 28th with the 29th and 30th reserved to speak to your elected officials. If you click on "important things to know about...", there are sample letters about gathering donations, getting your trip funded, the agenda of the gathering, and an email address for any questions.
This is out of the question for us this year, but is definately something I would consider doing next year. Maybe a group of us could go. Anyway, just wanted to pass along the information.
