Immune Reconstitution Syndrome?

Well....I found out this is what was wrong with me a couple weeks back with the scalp pain and sick like symptoms....or so the docs think....in 3 weeks my VL went from 38,000 to 119 and cd4 went from 230 to 490....the doc said this happens sometimes when your numbers jump in a short amount of time....has anyone else had this happen to them?...I am excited about my numbers so far though.
poz 96 and med free til now.
Sept 2007 cd4 280 28.37% and VL 19,200
Nov 2007 cd4 230 25.87% and VL 38,000
Dec 2007 start Atripla
Jan 2008 cd4 490 32.5% and VL 119
Feb 2008 cd4 450 28.4% and VL less than 50
April 2008 cd4 510 28.6% and VL less than 48
July 2008 cd4 570 30.2% and VL less than 48
Dec 2008 cd4 570 32.0% and VL less than 48

Hello Breaker...,

Your numbers are doing a good turn around, so continued success on that front.

 As far as "immune reconstitution syndrome"  there has been some discussion before about it. As I explained in the link I am providing to you, When I went through it ( or at least when I thought I did it was pretty mild. I did have some problems with eye irritations during that period of time. I think I also had some problem with a mild case of shingles also.

Current Meds ; Viramune / Epzicom Eliquis, Diltiazem. Pravastatin 80mg, Ezetimibe. UPDATED 2/18/24
 Tested positive in 1985,.. In October of 2003, My t-cell count was 16, Viral load was over 500,000, Percentage at that time was 5%. I started on  HAART on October 24th, 2003.

 As of Oct 2nd, 2023, Viral load Undetectable.
CD 4 @676 /  CD4 % @ 18 %
Lymphocytes,absolute-3815 (within range)
