Well it seems Australians have the most to fear - it seems they all picked geographically this place.
This would be funny if America didn't have the bomb!

That was funny Val.  I liked the couple that wanted to bomb France because they weren't our allies (and I believe they too pointed to Australia).

thats the our fine US Public School system at work, has nothing to do with arrogance, and our children are imprisoned in ignorance by the Teachers union.
We were talking the other day and trying to figure out what possessed us to try and protect S Korea from N Korea? I mean, Hyaanaides are not a bad car(anymore), and they produce some fine female golfers and ping pong players, but WTF? WTF was N Korea gonna go to after S Korea? And Hines Ward is half Korean, but still WTF were we thinking?

Well, when I hinted at " ignorance,"  what I was really referring to was political --- and not geographical ---  nescience!  France and Italy cannot be invaded by the U.S.A. France is the first European nuclear power, and there is something called the E.U. But, you cannot expect every Americans to know this, right?
However, and even if it was a tricky question, I really was flabbergasted by the responses.  Should a reporter ask me which country France, or, as a matter of fact any other country, invade, I'd tell him to go fly a kyte and  get the hell out of my way...
As for the geographic unawareness, I think  it unlikely  (but not impossible) to happen in Europe.

Val,

I think some of them were just playing around.  I don't think, but could be wrong, that there are too many Americans who are hoping that the Pentagon will bomb Canada, Italy, France or Brazil.  I think some of guys were just being silly.

The question is a bit presumptuous, since it assumes that all Americans (or even a majority) support bombing other nations.  Perhaps there were many who told the reporter to take a hike (or fly a kite), but those were edited out because they weren't that funny.

I think Cliff is right, sorta of like some of the people Jay Leno interviews out on the street. Human beings just can't be that stupid can they? How do you mistake Australia for Korea?

Yes, I know guys that this is what You Tube is mostly about: to have fun!  However, I posted the video 'cause something weird happened to me while in the U.S.A. last May.  I had a calling card and needed to call Brazil.  So, I dial the company's operator number and ask for the call.  The operator said: "Yes, Sir, so you need to call Brazil,  in Africa, right?  Ironically, I replied: "Yes, Brazil,  in South Africa!" :-\   To make it short, I could have said Brazil...in China, Mars or in The Magellan Cloud that, for her, it would mean  the same thing!  At the end, I had to tell her that Brazil was larger than Continental United States, and it was an American nation as well!  The poor girl took me for a unhinged bloke... But, she was very, very funny and nice!
