Helo everyone,

I had a sexual encounter with a CSW on 12th april, well it was a protected one but due to the low light in the room i am not sure whether the condom broke or not.She even rubbed my tool on her legs and above the panty that was unprotected. From the next day onwards i started getting body aches and muscular pains. After completion of 1 week i had a sore throat and cold for 2 weeks. In the mean while the weakness continued with body aches.I even recieved a small cuts on my hands, pimples, red palms, even checked my Vit b 12 and Vit D..both came low..if i work a little i just feel so exhausted and that is even after i am eating alott...plus sometimes my heartbeat rises like anything....From then onwards i did HIV 1 and 2 anitbody test after 2 weeks,4 weeks,6 weeks,8 weeks,12 weeks,16 weeks..all have come negative..even hiv rna pcr was done after 14 days ,1 month and 45 days all have come negative...rapid test was done by me on 110 days ..that was also negative....but when i went for STD test..chlamadiya trachomatis came back positive after 15 weeks....just wanted to know can chlamadiya causes all these symptoms or i am slowly going thru seroconversion for HIV???...plus i got my CD4,Cd8 and cd3 cells checked at 112 days...values were CD 3 -3300,cd 4 -1380,and cd 8 -1975 .values for cd 4 in may was 1082 and for cd 3 was 2300....i am not able to understand why are these values so high above the range and i am waiting for my hiv pcr quantitative report that will come back by tomorow.Pls anyone can guide me in this matter.

You have tested way beyond what is required ... a negative HIV test at 12 weeks past any possible exposure is conclusive . You do not have HIV

What ever is going on with your health has nothing to do with HIV so if you are sick go see your doctor and find out why, we cant help you with that . You never had a risk to begin with, if the condom had broke you would have known it because that is the way they are designed . HIV is sexually transmitted from unprotected anal and vaginal sex and the sex you had was protected .

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI.Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

Although you did not have a risk and do not need to test for this specific incident , anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!
