Sean's Place
« on: December 24, 2006, 05:21:19 pm »
So we just got home from visiting my parents who live near Cleveland Ohio. Visiting the family can be stressful anytime of the year but add holidays to the picture and things get really stressful from sleeping on a full size bed (from a king) to dealing with my mom's smoking and my stepdad's drinking. I was ready to come home by noon on Friday. Friday night dinner made up for every stress of the weekend. We went to Lakewood to have dinner at Sean's Place. We had a marvelous dinner. I had the best Chicken Paprikash imaginable and Jeffrey had sesame crusted tuna. We also were blessed with an early Christmas present of meeting Sean's family. In a round about way I met Sean through the PML Survivors group on Yahoo. He died October 5th 2006 from PML. Although I never got to meet him I heard a lot about him from his sister Mary who came to the group for support. Jeffrey and I were honored to join  Mary and Sean's mom and another sister and a niece and nephew for dinner at his restaurant. His family wants to carry out his dream by keeping his restaurant open. What a truly beautiful family! No one could ask for a better sister than Mary. Without a doubt his mom loved him and will keep his spirit alive. His niece was sweet as pie with a great smile and Jeffrey adored his nephew Paul. Paul was a talker and kept us entertained. He was a smart intuitive kid for just 9 years old. If you ever had a question about trains Paul would be the person to ask.  So if you're in the Cleveland area make sure to stop by Sean's Place on Clifton in Lakewood for a fantastic dinner!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Jeff
