Title: Hi Scared and Have a Question
Post by: kittie1234 on September 23, 2013, 10:56:52 pm
Sir,
Yesterday I went to a public toilet in Thailand, and there're a pervert or psychosis something like that. He did his masturbation and I was shocked with what I saw. Seeing me, he then went out the toilet. I was fear and went out, but unconsciously I touch a door knob, and there're his semen on it.

He touched it before me about 30sec or 1 min. "I think HIV DIDN'T DIE in a SHORT MINUTE AND PERIOD like this." It's like the infection in inside body, I guess. Will it be infectious through my hand? I've a little cut on my finger. This made me worried.

Moreover, there're some liqiud on the floor and my bare foot touched it. If it was his semen, can it also be infectious through my bare foot. I don't know if there're some unobvious wound on it.

Help please I don't know how to manage this.

Regards,
Kit.

You cant get HIV from door handles or from a semen soaked floor wounds or no wounds , its not a risk  . These are the only risk factors for HIV ...

Sharing IV drug needles immediately after use.
Unprotected anal and vaginal sex.
Mother to child during or shortly after birth
Very specific healthcare situations.

Use condoms for vaginal or anal sex and you will avoid HIV .

Hi there,
I pop my acne and it's bleeding, my friends who is hiv positive touch my face. His finger bleeds, then his blood is on my wound --acne bleeding. I read that this is risk because it's a wound to wound contact. His blood penetrates to my wound. I don't know what to do.

What should I do? I'm scary and when I can test my blood?
Help please!!!

Thanks.

Kittie , I have been over the risk factors for HIV with you already . You do not have to worry about HIV unless you are having unprotected vaginal or anal sex or sharing IV drug equipment with your friend , its really that simple .

Thank you, but I'm just wonder why it's no risk. It's a wound to wound. His blood can contact my wound and penetrate to my vein. That's the transmission??? Could you explain me please?

To be transmitted sexually HIV requires the kind of prolonged and intimate contact that happens with unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse.

It's a fragile virus and simply does not happen in the course of ordinary life events including those you are worried about. You have no basis in HIV science to be concerned.

You can if you wish strictly for your peace of mind get tested and get the inevitable negative result. But it's unnecessary to do that. This is a no risk situation and I can tell you we are not going to continue an endless round of doubts with you about it. NO RISK. NO RISK.
