Unbelievable! Utah still has an ADAP Waiting List --- and it's growing!!!
There are 35 people on an AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) waiting list in Utah (as of July 23, 2014). This is up from 23 in Feb 2014
While it's encouraging that Utah Gov. Gary Herbert is trying to find a way to get Medicaid Expansion into his state, it's not there yet (just like it isn't in my state of SC). ME could easily clear this Utah waiting list by getting these 35 HIV positive people, who are financially eligible for assistance and medically need to be treated, onto medications.
