Sex with SW while overdrunk. I need help please!!
« on: September 12, 2011, 01:52:08 pm »
Hi everyone,

First, please excuse me for my poor English. Here is my story: 1 week ago, after overdrunk at a party, I had sex with a SW. First, she gave me a blowjob without a condom, and then she put on a condom for me. We have vaginal intercourse for about 15 mins. So I have a few questions for you:

1- When I came home, I realized that there was a pimple on my penis. Is it possible for HIV to transmit via such kind of that wound while getting unprotected blowjob and protected vaginal intercourse? (I am not sure if the condom covered the pimple or not)
2- After having vaginal intercourse, I forgot to check the condom. If the condom brakes, is it easy to find out or something like tiny hole that you can not realize by naked eyes? I just remember that my semen was stored in the tip of my condom. Is it ok for my case?

I am so scared now and really need help from all of you. Thank you for your time and consideration.

You are worrying needlessly. Receiving oral is not a risk for HIV, not even with a pimple on your penis.

And despite your drinking too much you still wore a condom which means you were well and effectively protected. A condom break is not about a teeny hole happening. That's a myth. When a condom fails it is quite obvious what has happened because it ends up looking like a hoop with fringe on your penis.

There is no need for testing nor for further concern on your part.

We do advise everyone who is sexually active to have a full STD panel done at least once a year because other STDs are much easier to acquire than HIV.

But as far as HIV is concerned there is nothing to worry about in relation to this incident.

Andy, thank you for your answer.

I have 1 more question if you don't mind. As you said, there's no problem with the pimple on my penis when I received a blowjob. But, how about a vaginal intercourse if the pimple wasn't covered by a condom? (because it near the root of my penis)

Thank you.

A pimple is not a wound. A pimple in an infected pore or hair follicle. These things do not allow entry for pathogens into the bloodstream.

Moreover, the secretions found near the entrance to the vagina are not infectious. It is the thicker, mucousal secretions found deep inside the vagina, near the cervix, which are infectious.

You simply don't get HIV from a pimple exposed to vaginal fluids.
"Many people, especially in the gay community, turn to oral sex as a safer alternative in the age of AIDS. And with HIV rates rising, people need to remember that oral sex is safer sex. It's a reasonable alternative."

Hi experts,

Can I ask you a question? Yesterday I remembered that when I talked to the SW, she told me that she has been worked as SW for 4 days. So the question is, if she was infected in that time, it means that she is newly infected so she has high viral load. Does it increase the risk for my activities when I had sex with her?
I'm back here today extremely tired and depressed. I can not throw all these thoughts out off my mind. These days are really hard time for me.. Can you help me get out of this please? Thank you for listening..

Miyake,

Why would it make any difference when YOU DID NOT HAVE A RISK FOR HIV INFECTION?

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

Hi everyone,
I'm back here 19 days after the exposure. Sorry for stick around here.. I tried to forget everything about hiv but I can't. 2 days ago, I had mild fever in the afternoon (37,1 - 37,2 °C, sometimes 37,6 °C) , muscle and joint pain. I searched and found some sources on the internet. It is told that after 2 weeks from the exposure, if someone infected, there will be such symptoms like that (especially mild fever in the afternoon).. I know that fever, muscle and joint pain comes with running nose, headache, sore throat are symptoms of cold or flu. But I got only 2 first things?.. Why it is so coincident like that?

You're still busily misinterpreting everything through an HIV jitters mindset. And all with no basis in HIV science. See your doctor about your symptoms. They have nothing to do with HIV.

I am also going to warn you that if you continue to return here about this non-risk incident you are going to find yourself getting a Time Out from this site. HIV is NOT your problem.

Thank you Andy.
Please forgive me with my questions. But as you know, I was overdrunk when I had sex, I'm afraid that maybe I didn't remember everything clearly (maybe didn't use condom from beginning or condom breakage)

We have no evidence that any of your what ifs happened.

If you can't let this go then get tested and collect the inevitable negative result to put the issue to rest. There really isn't anything more we can do for you in this setting.

Hi all!

Sorry for taking your time but I have one more question if you can help please.
I am now experiencing some symptoms:
1. day 20 after the exposure i had mild fever and then diarrhea. They lasted for 2 days and gone.
2. day 32, I had flu-like symptoms: scratchy nose, throat, and then runny nose, nasal congestion, mild sore throat, low-grade fever. All of them have disappeared except congestion and fatigue until now.

I was totally freaked out because of these symptoms. Does it sound like ARS symptoms? Today (36 days after the exposure), I had a rapid test (antibody test) and the result is negative. So how much reliable of the test at 36 days?

■Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). If you continue to post excessively after one Time Out, you may be given a second Time Out which will last eight weeks. There is no third Time Out - it is a permanent ban. The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

Discuss your "symptoms" with your doctor. There is no reason from what you have reported of your activities to think they have anything to do with HIV.

I am giving you the 28 day Time Out you were warned about. Don't make the mistake of trying to get around it by creating a new account. We will spot that right off and it will get you permanently banned.

HIV is not your problem. You did not have a risk.

Hello, I have a question. Is 82 days enough for final and conclusive test? And does antibiotic for respiratory affect the result?

You received a time out and you are asking more questions on your no risk incident. You do know a second time out is 56 days?
