Hello everyone,

I test poz since December 2010. Last lab is CD4 358/ 18%. Calmed down a bit after few months, thanks to really helpful information on this site.

Do anyone know a good hospital in Bangkok that I should come for VL and resistant test (I do not speak Thai) ?
Also heard about generic Atripla , Viraday . Is it available in Thailand? Where can I buy it, with/without prescription?

Thank you.

Hello welcome

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis

HIV meds are prescription-only in Thailand. Nearly everything is available, including many generics, but price varies.

Chulalongkorn Hospital is a teaching and research hospital and does everything

Thank you. I will contact them tomorrow.
Most important for me is to find source for viraday. I found many threads here saying it is OK.
Once a day looks suitable for my unstable routine.

Were you able to source Viraday? I buy mine online at AIDS Drugs Online http://www.aids-drugs-online.com/Generic-HIV-Medicine/VIRADAY-300.php. I've been very happy with it.

Do you realise that specialists recommend a medicine based on the analysis of the HIV that you have.  Its not just - I want this one, or that one, because its convenient, or economical.

Have you had "resistance testing" or not?   Viraday/atripla may not be the combo for you.
