For those of you in the DC area or who are familiar with Cheryl Spector, I feel it is my sad duty to inform everyone that one of DC's greatest activists and relentless archivist of all things related to the gay community passed away on Sept 4 this year after being diagnosed only ten weeks earlier with Leukemia. Cheryl was one in a billion and her loss is a tragic blow to not only the DC Gay Community but the larger gay community.

There will be a celebration of Cheryl's life at Dupont Circle in Washington DC on Sept 30 from 1 PM to 3 PM that will continue from 3 - 9 at local club Apex for anyone who wishes to come and celebrate and remember this wonderful woman's life and all that she has done for our community.
RIP Cheryl - we miss you and love you and thank you for all you did for our community!
