Happy birthday to all our March birthday people with a special shoutout to Andy Velez.  Andy has meant so much to so many as Mitch points out.  His tireless efforts to educate, advocate and otherwise assist not only HIV+ folks and those who fear they may be have been infected but those people who sadly and tragically face injustice everywhere have been all but legendary in cyberspace at this website and in the real world as well.

Keep on truckin' Andy Velez, the world needs many more of you!!!

on a slightly sad note (because of how my life has got me to here today, everything good in my life is tinged with sadness), I have now outlived both my partners since Jim passed away about 6 wks before he would have turned 52.

on a very happy note though, I'd love to find the hospital docs who treated me 16 (and 18) yrs ago. Although they misdiagnosed me (all 5 of them told me I was definitely going to die within hours), it was their care - and all 18 amazing HIV meds I've taken through all the years - that got me here to where I am today. I sure never dreamed when I was 38 that I'd see 52. I'd love to give those docs a hug and forgive them for their terrible diagnoses that scared me so much. LOL
