Published to coincide with IAS 2016 conference that opens in Durban next week, the PARTNER study showing the impact of HIV treatment (ART) on reducing transmission will benefit millions of people globally.

This is HUGE news and probably deserves, and will get - I think - a more prominent airing.

What is especially encouraging is that the definition of undetectable for this study is <200, so even viral 'blips' are not considered risk elements by the standards of current UD measures (usually <50 or <20).

That's really amazing news.

For those -like me- that its major concern is to spread the virus to others.

Honestly, I don't care about being an HIV carrier (under treatment) if I'm unable to spread the disease to others, and can be able to have a normal and happy sexual and love life.
